People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Water Technician / Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a permanent position, excellent training, and opportunities for growth and progression within a supportive business.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Courier. Applicants must hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Completing deliveries and collections across designated routes
- Loading, unloading, and handling products safely
- Operating a company van in a safe and efficient manner
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all products are loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to all traffic laws and road transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with customers and the operations team
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
- Cleaning and servicing water coolers
- Undertaking heavy lifting and manual handling duties as required
Essential Skills:
- A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
- A minimum of six months' van driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- A good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A good level of physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience in a customer-facing driving role
Training:
Full industry-related training provided. Ongoing support and development throughout your employment.
