The Opportunity

Join our team as a Mechanical Fitter on the night shift at Bardon Hill Quarry, our flagship site for Holcim UK. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers you a unique opportunity to bring your mechanical expertise to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Working on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern 18:00 - 06:00, you’ll be essential in keeping our plant running smoothly and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform essential maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure all work aligns with safety standards and contributes to a safe working environment.
  • Identify potential issues early, helping to prevent unplanned downtime during production.
  • Carry out routine assessments to ensure machinery and structures remain reliable.
