T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Client on a Permanent basis for our client based in Coalville. You will be working in a fast-paced, construction workshop environment and should have the ability to carry out multiple tasks at once and so be very organised. You will primarily be dealing with all types of plant machinery working on your own and as part of the team.
Job Benefits:
- £39,208 per annum
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm including paid breaks
- Quarterly bonus scheme paid based on Company profit
- Weekly overtime available paid at 1.5 (£21.75 per hour) - no weekend working
- Company van
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus a Christmas shutdown
- Employer pension contribution
Job Responsibilities:
- To assess, service and repair attachments in the workshop and on site
- To attend attachment installs and breakdowns on site
- Occasional repairs to hire fleet and customer excavator attachments
- Travelling to sites to complete repairs
- Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition
- Ensure that the Company health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Person Specification:
- Strong mechanical background is required
- Experience in hydraulics is desirable but not necessary
- Strong welding experience
- FLT experience is desired
- Attention to detail
- Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
- Willing to learn new skills and methods
- Full and Clean UK Driving License
