Are you an Estimator with experience in facades, rainscreen cladding or specialist building envelopes looking to join a growing specialist contractor offering great work-life balance where you will play a key role in producing accurate and competitive tenders?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing specialist contractor, where you'll take responsibility for producing detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, Bills of Quantities, and commercial pricing for a range of commercial and public sector projects.

This role would suit an Estimator or similar with experience within rainscreen cladding, facades or specialist envelopes, strong knowledge of facade systems, and excellent commercial acumen who is looking for a varied role with progression and professional development.

In this role, the successful candidate will prepare competitive tender submissions, analyse drawings and specifications, conduct site surveys, liaise with clients and the supply chain, assess project risks, and support commercial and project teams throughout the construction phase.

The Role:

  • Conducting pre-tender and pre-contract facade surveys to identify condition, substrate, fixings and refurbishment requirements
  • Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects and structural engineers
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns, valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with no weekend working

The Person:

  • Estimator or similar background with experience within rainscreen cladding, facades or specialist envelopes
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and survey reports
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with post-Grenfell fire safety remediation projects and EWS1 assessments (Preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
