We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Client Manager to join our client's accountancy firm team in Watford, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of statutory accounts and other financial reporting requirements.
A key aspect of this role involves working extensively with Xero accounting software. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of statutory accounting processes within a Xero environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams, ensuring all deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Experience in preparing and managing statutory accounts
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Previous experience as a Client Manager or in a similar role
- Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and private clients
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
- Prepare and review VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain accounting records and resolve outstanding matters
- Support clients with cloud accounting software and process improvements
