About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and practical Cabinet Maker / Assembly Technician to join our growing production team. This role is focused on the assembly and construction of high-quality cabinetry and furniture products using pre-cut boards and components.

The ideal candidate will have previous assembly, cabinet making, joinery, or woodworking experience and be confident using a wide range of hand and power tools. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to consistently produce work to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble cabinets, furniture, and bespoke wood products from pre-cut components.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Fit hardware, fixtures, and finishing components as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines and production targets.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in cabinet making, furniture assembly, joinery, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Be comfortable and competent using a range of power tools.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work.
  • Be physically fit and capable of lifting and handling wooden boards and assembled units.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong joinery or cabinet-making experience.
  • Experience working in a furniture manufacturing or bespoke joinery workshop.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
