HGV Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver
Location: Fawley, Southampton
Long-Term Contract | £17.70 per hour | £26.55 overtime | Paid training | Immediate starts
Solid, regular work through to May/June next year, with the opportunity to return on contract annually. You will receive fully paid classroom and practical training and consistent, planned work through to at least May/June next year. Drivers who perform well will also have the opportunity to return annually, providing reliable seasonal work year after year.

This is a professional, structured contract with the training, equipment & ongoing work already in place; this is not a short-term assignment.
Your Shifts:
- Day shifts
- Typical start time of 6:00am
- Average shifts of 8-10 hours
- Additional hours paid at the overtime rate (after 45 hours)
- Some flexibility may be required during busy periods
The Job:
You will deliver gas products safely to commercial and domestic customers across the region. The work includes:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle in line with ADR regulations
- Completing scheduled deliveries to customer locations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic records
- Following all transport, safety and operational procedures
- Providing a professional service to customers
You will receive comprehensive classroom and practical training before completing the role independently.
What You Must Have:
- Valid Category C/Class 2 HGV licence
- Valid ADR licence covering Tanks and Packages
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- No more than six penalty points
- No DR, DD or IN conviction codes
- A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach
