Class 1 HGV Driver | Houghton-le-Spring | We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a factory shunting role with our client based in Houghton-le-Spring .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business within the automotive sector , offering a long-term assignment with regular hours and competitive rates of pay.
The Role Shunting curtainsider trailers between two local manufacturing sites
8-hour shifts
Rotating weekly day and late shifts
Minimum 2-month assignment , with the potential to be extended
Safe and efficient movement of trailers between sites
Straightforward, ongoing work with a structured shift pattern
Monday - Friday.
Pay Rate £16.81 - £17.93 per hour
Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence held for minimum 1 year.
Valid Driver CPC
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous shunting experience is beneficial but not essential
Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
