In this role, you'll manage and operate the materials testing laboratory, carrying out a range of mechanical and material tests on raw materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a laboratory, quality, materials testing, or manufacturing environment, with an interest in materials science, polymers, or engineering products.
The Role:
- Operating and managing the Materials Testing Laboratory
- Conducting tensile, hardness, density, elongation, and DSC testing
- Preparing test specimens and operating laboratory equipment
- Managing calibration schedules and laboratory records
- Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
The Person:
- Experience within Quality, Laboratory Testing, Materials Testing, or Manufacturing
- Background in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field beneficial
