A highly regarded engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen its established civil engineering team in Ringwood. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an exciting mix of residential, commercial, retail, education, healthcare and regeneration projects, delivering infrastructure solutions from planning through to detailed design and construction. You'll join a supportive team that places a strong emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration and career development.
The role offers excellent scope to take ownership of projects while working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
- Support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of development infrastructure projects across the South.
- Design highways and drainage infrastructure including S38, S278, S104 agreements, SuDS, earthworks and site levels.
- Produce detailed infrastructure designs using Civil 3D together with InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar software.
- Work closely with architects, planners, clients and local authorities to deliver coordinated engineering solutions.
- Manage projects through planning and detailed design while ensuring technical quality and programme delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the continued development of the wider team.
What We're Looking For
- Consultancy experience delivering UK development infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in highways and drainage design for residential and commercial developments.
- Experience using Civil 3D and industry-standard drainage software.
- Good understanding of S38, S278, S104, SuDS and UK design standards.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working towards or already holding professional accreditation with the ICE would be advantageous.
