CIA Fire & Security, part of the Ranger Group, is looking for an experienced Service & Small Works Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional engineer to become part of a respected, customer-focused business with strong opportunities for training, development and career progression. We are particularly interested in hearing from engineers who are Gent qualified or have strong experience working with Gent fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and fault-find on fire and security systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
  • Complete remedial works and small works installations.
  • Work on Gent fire alarm systems where qualified and competent.
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and aim for first-time fixes wherever possible.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, remedials and small works.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
