Buckshaw Retirement Village is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to provide high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents and customers.
Pay & Hours 18 hours per week £13.68 per hour Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (alternative weekends).
What You'll Do Plan and prepare nutritious, appetising menus.
Cater for a range of dietary and nutritional requirements.
Manage food ordering, stock control and catering budgets.
Prepare and present meals, snacks, cakes and pastries to a high standard.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety and HACCP standards.
Support and supervise kitchen staff when required.
Work closely with care teams to ensure residents receive the best dining experience possible.
What We're Looking For Previous Chef experience in a care, hospitality or catering environment.
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum).
Knowledge of food safety legislation and HACCP.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional food and customer service.
