Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver between 6 and 14 drops per day depending on route and workload
  • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
  • Load and unload vehicles using a tail lift, with some routes involving manual unloading where required
  • Complete all delivery paperwork, manifests, and delivery notes accurately
  • Provide a professional and reliable service to customers at each delivery point
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid HGV Class 2 licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous multi-drop driving experience would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of driver hours regulations and vehicle safety requirements
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
