Business Development Manager for a Digital Design & Development Agency. £32,000 base + High OTE. This role is for someone who can sell, write, think commercially and turn good work into better opportunities. You will be joining a specialist digital agency that builds fast, modern websites, apps and digital products using Sanity CMS, Next.js and Vercel.

Your job is to help more of the right people realise there's a better option. That means business development, yes. But it also means content, campaigns, case studies, LinkedIn posts, email ideas, pitch copy, and landing pages. You will be turning clever technical work into simple, sharp messages that make clients think, 'Yep, we need that.'

You won't be selling vague digital waffle. You'll be talking about better websites, better CMS platforms, better UX, faster pages, cleaner content structures and digital products that are easier to manage and scale, producing demonstrable ROI for businesses.

What you'll be doing:

  • Finding good-fit prospects and starting useful conversations
  • Creating content that makes the agency more visible
  • Writing LinkedIn posts, case studies, emails, landing pages and pitch material
  • Building campaigns around websites, UX, CMS, SEO, apps and digital products
  • Turning designer and developer brain dumps into things clients understand
  • Supporting proposals, follow-ups and new business activity
  • Helping build a proper growth engine, not just a spreadsheet of cold leads

What you'll need:

  • Experience in business development, marketing, content or agency growth
  • A background in digital, tech, SaaS, web, creative or marketing
  • The ability to write clearly without sounding like ChatGPT on a company away day
  • Confidence speaking to clients and prospects
  • Enough commercial sense to know what is worth chasing and what is a waste of time

About the company:

They are a specialist digital product agency building high-performance headless websites, apps and digital experiences. They are especially strong in Sanity CMS, UX/UI, frontend development and scalable content architecture. The work has substance, which matters because when the work is good, your job is not to polish rubbish, but to get the right people to notice.

What you'll get:

  • A proper mix of business development, marketing and content creation
  • A genuinely useful digital proposition to take to market
  • The chance to shape how the agency wins work
  • Exposure to modern web, app, CMS and product projects
  • A role that can grow as the agency grows
