Career Makers Recruitment is currently looking for Fabricator/Platers for one of our clients based in Chesterfield, S46.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, measure and mark out materials, and prepare steel and platework for fabrication.

Cut, drill, grind, bend, fit and assemble components using appropriate workshop tools and equipment.

Fabricate and weld structural steelwork and platework to required specifications, dimensions and tolerances.

Use lifting equipment and workshop machinery safely and correctly.

Inspect finished work, carry out finishing and grinding, and ensure work meets quality standards.

Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and follow all company health and safety procedures.

Work effectively as part of a team, meet production deadlines and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Monday - Friday Shifts available: 6am - 4.30pm (12.45pm finish on Fridays)
Pay rate : £16 - £17/ H (DOE)
