In this role, the successful Lead Production Engineer or similar will be responsible for:

  • The oversight of both Production and Manufacturing
  • Supporting both New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as Quality Checks
  • Development and implementation of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) procedures
  • Being the technical point of contact for both customers and internal teams

The ideal Lead Production Engineer or similar will come from a background within the Manufacturing/Aerospace/Defence sector or a related field, having prior practical experience within a Production Engineer/Manager role or a similar position. In addition, you will also hold a Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering. You will be computer literate, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team.
