Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join a successful marketing and communications agency specialising in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The agency works with organisations across the UK, Europe, the US and wider international markets, helping clients communicate their capabilities through creative, insight-led digital marketing campaigns. You'll join a friendly and supportive team that values high-quality work, continuous improvement and a healthy work-life balance.

THE DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE ROLE:

As Digital Marketing Executive, you'll support the planning, delivery and monitoring of digital campaigns for a varied portfolio of B2B pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Operations Manager and senior leadership team, you'll work across SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, content and campaign reporting.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of integrated digital marketing campaigns
  • Writing and optimising content for websites, social media and email campaigns
  • Managing website content with a focus on SEO and lead generation
  • Creating engaging social content centred around industry insight and thought leadership
  • Supporting paid media campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads
  • Managing targeted email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and content creation
  • Monitoring campaign performance and producing clear, actionable reports
  • Conducting market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborating with designers, developers and content specialists
  • Managing multiple campaigns and priorities across a varied client portfolio

DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • 2+ years' experience in a digital marketing role
  • Experience within an agency, B2B environment or pharmaceutical sector would be beneficial
  • Working knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media and content marketing
  • Strong content writing and copywriting skills
  • Confident analysing campaign performance, metrics and statistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical terminology or regulated marketing environments would be advantageous
  • A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Life Sciences or a related subject would be beneficial
