What you'll do day to day:
- Assist with the repair and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on damaged vehicles
- Support qualified technicians in preparing vehicles for repair and reassembly
- Learn how to diagnose faults and identify repair requirements
- Follow manufacturer repair methods and health and safety standards
- Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Build your technical knowledge through practical experience and formal training
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with colleagues and contribute positively to the team
Helpful skills and qualifications:
- A genuine interest in vehicle technology and repairs
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable
- A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
