  • 0-12 Weeks £15.91-£46.40
  • 12-26 Weeks £16.69-£49.82
  • 27 Weeks + £17.96-£51.82

Overtime Rate Applicable after 45 hours weekly

DUTIES:

  • Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Delivering ambient and chilled supermarket goods using temperature-controlled vehicles
  • Ensuring correct temperature compliance for chilled distribution
  • Securing loads to ensure products are transported safely and without damage
  • Carrying out store deliveries and trunking as required
  • Operating Class 1 vehicles, with flexibility to operate Class 2 vehicles where required
  • Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Office
  • Providing excellent customer service at store delivery points
  • Working efficiently to delivery schedules and time windows
  • Maintaining a professional and flexible approach at all times

  • HGV C+E (Class 1) licence

  • Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
  • Experience with temperature-controlled / chilled distribution preferred
  • Good geographical awareness
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
  • Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised
  • Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first-class service
  • Strong communication skills and flexible, can-do attitude
