A leader in life sciences is looking to recruit a System Controls Design Engineer to lead the design, modelling, and optimisation of next-generation ultra-low-temperature refrigeration systems. As System Controls Design Engineer, responsibilities will include;
Refrigeration system design - Develop ultra-low-temperature refrigeration systems and define system architecture with cross-functional teams.
Control development - Create and optimise PID and advanced control algorithms for precise, stable temperature regulation.
Modelling & simulation - Build, simulate, and validate high-fidelity system models to guide design decisions.
Performance optimisation - Analyse system data, refine thermodynamic efficiency, and drive continuous improvements.
Hardware & supplier integration - Integrate sensors, actuators, and components while supporting sourcing and supplier collaboration.
Documentation & compliance - Produce technical specifications and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and manufacturing requirements.
