About us: Philip Grahame International is a leading manufacturer of cable containment products. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver our cable containment products from our factory on the Springfield Business Park in Chelmsford, Essex.

About the role: In this role, you would be working as part of a team of 9 drivers, and reporting to the Lead Driver and Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering our metal cable containment products to customers nationwide, predominantly around the M25
  • Load and unload goods at customer sites, ensuring proper handling using PPE where appropriate
  • Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently
  • Conducting daily walkaround checks of the vehicles, and reporting any defects to the office
  • Driving safely and responsibly, taking care of our vehicles
  • Obey drivers hours legislation, and follow company policies and procedures

About you:

  • A HGV Class 2 Licence with clean driving record
  • Ability to load/unload goods
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Communication and customer service skills
