Heavy Plant Lifting Inspector Chemsford £40,000 - £50,000 Basic + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Pension + Training NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing organisation who are looking to appoint a Heavy Plant Lifting Inspector to join their engineering team based around Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lifting inspector who enjoys working in the field, inspecting heavy plant machinery and ensuring lifting equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

The successful candidate will be trusted to work independently across customer sites, carrying out thorough examinations, producing inspection reports and maintaining the highest safety standards.

The Role Carry out LOLER Thorough Examinations on heavy plant machinery and lifting equipment.

Inspect lifting accessories, attachments and lifting points.

Complete inspection reports and certification in line with current legislation.

Identify defects and recommend remedial work where required.

Ensure all inspections comply with LOLER, PUWER and company procedures.

Build strong relationships with customers whilst representing the business professionally.

Maintain excellent health & safety standards at all times.

The Person LEEA Qualification (Essential) Previous experience carrying out lifting inspections on heavy plant equipment.

Strong understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Mechanical knowledge of construction plant machinery.

Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.
