Are you a Graduate Electrical Engineer looking to join a growing consultancy? This role would suit someone with a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a similar subject.
The company is delivering multiple projects across the Thames Water framework and is looking for a motivated graduate to join its growing team. You will work alongside experienced engineers on live schemes, gaining practical experience across electrical design, installation, commissioning, testing, technical documentation, and project delivery.
The successful candidate will receive full training, including relevant site and safety courses such as SMSTS and other industry-recognised qualifications where required. You will also receive hands-on support from senior engineers while developing your practical electrical engineering skills on real projects.
The role will include site visits 2-3 days per week, where you will support senior engineers with inspections, equipment testing, installation and commissioning work, and general site-based engineering tasks.
This role would suit a Graduate Engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience, develop practical electrical engineering skills, and work on real infrastructure projects from day one.
The Role:
- Support the delivery of water industry projects across multiple sites, gaining hands-on site experience
- Assist with design, installation, commissioning activities, and general project delivery support
- Attend site visits 2-3 days per week alongside senior engineers to develop practical onsite skills
- Produce technical reports and project documentation while learning industry standards, safety practices, and delivery processes
The Person:
- Graduate Electrical Engineer or graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Commutable to Chelmsford
