We are looking for a reliable and passionate Chef to join the catering team at a residential care home in AL7. You will play a key role in serving fresh, high-quality, home-style meals that bring comfort and satisfaction to residents every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious breakfast, lunch, and supper options for residents.
- Cater to varied nutritional needs, including soft/pureed diets and allergen-specific options.
- Keep kitchen workspaces clean, sanitized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Support stock management, rotation, and delivery checks.
Requirements
- Essential: Previous culinary experience in a residential care home, hospital, or similar care facility.
- Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
- Familiarity with nutritional guidelines and diet modifications for elderly residents.
