I'm currently recruiting for a Bar & Restaurant Manager to join a thriving, independently operated country inn in a beautiful rural setting.

The business is doing some genuinely exciting things at the moment, with a strong team, great momentum and ambitious plans for the future.

They are now looking for someone who can come in, take real ownership of the front-of-house operation and help elevate the guest experience to the next level .

This isnt about simply maintaining what is already there.

They want somebody with ideas, personality and standards someone who can develop the team, raise service levels and play a big part in the continued growth of the business.

The Role Youll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant , working closely with the owners and wider management team.

Youll be involved in:
Leading and motivating the front-of-house team
Delivering warm, polished and genuinely memorable service
Training and developing the team
Maintaining and improving service standards
Overseeing restaurant and bar operations
Supporting rotas, stock control and ordering
Driving beverage sales and developing the bar offering
Handling guest feedback and ensuring consistently high standards
Bringing new ideas to the operation
Helping shape the future direction of the food and beverage experience
Who Were Looking For Were looking for someone with solid restaurant or hotel experience who is ready to make their mark.

You might already be a Bar & Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant F&B Manager looking for more responsibility.

Most importantly, youll be:
A natural host who genuinely enjoys looking after people
Confident leading and developing a team
Passionate about food, drink and hospitality
Commercially aware
Organised and hands-on
Comfortable working within an independent business
Full of ideas and keen to improve standards rather than simply maintain them
Previous experience within a quality country inn, gastropub, boutique hotel or food-led property would be particularly relevant.
