We are looking for an experienced and motivated Domiciliary Care Manager to lead our Carlisle branch, ensuring outstanding care delivery while driving service growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making a real difference, leading teams, and developing a successful home care service.
What you'll be responsible for Managing the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
Leading, motivating and supporting the care team to deliver exceptional care.
Ensuring full CQC compliance and maintaining high-quality standards.
Completing care assessments, reviews, audits, spot checks and quality assurance activities.
Managing staff recruitment, induction, supervision, training and performance.
Investigating incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
Building strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
Supporting business development and helping to grow care hours across the Carlisle area.
Ensuring rotas are planned effectively to meet service user needs.
Maintaining accurate electronic care records and reporting systems.
Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota as required.
What we're looking for You will have: Previous experience managing a domiciliary care service .
A strong understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards , safeguarding and relevant legislation.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care , or be working towards it.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Experience managing staff performance, recruitment and service quality.
Confidence using electronic care management systems.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
