Employment: Full Time (Permanent) Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE

As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Supervisor to join their expanding team.
Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and supporting electrical installation teams across domestic and commercial EV charging projects. The role will involve carrying out installations of commercial projects, testing and inspection, quality control audits, technical support, site surveys and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Management and installation of commercial EV charging projects
Supervise and support installation engineers on-site and remotely
Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification of completed works
Ensure all works comply with BS7671, IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment, OZEV requirements and company procedures
Conducting site surveys, technical assessments and conveyance reviews where required ensure we are fully compliant
Carry out quality control checks and site audits on completed installations, Diagnose electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions
Ensure safe working practices are always followed
Completely sign off all required certifications, job documentation, photographs and reporting accurately
Liaise with customers professionally and deliver exceptional on-site customer service
Support training and mentoring junior engineers and subcontractors, Work closely with the operations and scheduling teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
Carry out site surveys for both domestic and commercial projects, Quote and price jobs accurately, identifying new business opportunities
Maximise profitability and electrician utilisation across the team
Support the growth of the team in line with wider business growth
Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
Maintain company standards for workmanship, communication, and customer experience
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
2391 or 2392 Inspection & Testing qualification
ECS Gold Card
Experience installing EV chargers across multiple manufacturers
Ability to complete electrical testing and certification independently
Experience with commercial EV infrastructure projects
Experience using certification and job management software systems
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving Licence
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Desirable
Full MCS qualification, Solar PV and Battery storage installation experience, OZEV installer experience, Experience using SafetyCulture or similar safety audit and compliance software, Full DBS check, Experience using ServiceM8 or similar job management systems
