QHSE Lead
Yolk Recruitment are supporting an established engineering business with the recruitment of a QHSE Lead. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience across Quality, Health & Safety or Environmental management to play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits and improving QHSE standards across the business.
The role will suit someone with a background in Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental or QHSE, who is comfortable carrying out audits and inspections, supporting investigations, maintaining documentation and working with people across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems.
Carry out internal audits, inspections and risk assessments, helping to identify and resolve issues.
Assist with the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, non-conformances, accidents and incidents.
Maintain accurate QHSE records, documentation, training records and compliance registers.
Support external audits and site visits, liaising with auditors and providing relevant documentation.
Help deliver QHSE training and awareness to employees across the business.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
This is what you'll need:
Previous experience within a Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental or QHSE role.
Experience with auditing, inspections, risk assessments or compliance.
Confident communicating with colleagues, management, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Comfortable delivering or supporting QHSE training and awareness.
NEBOSH qualification.
A proactive and organised approach, with good attention to detail.
