Job Description
As a Mobile Vehicle Paint & SMART Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs while providing outstanding customer service.
Your Responsibilities
Carry out high-quality SMART repairs, including scratches, scuffs, stone chips and minor dent repairs.
Prepare damaged panels ready for painting.
Mix and colour match paint accurately.
Apply primer, basecoat and clear coat using professional paint techniques.
Blend adjacent panels where required to achieve invisible repairs.
Machine polish and finish repairs to an exceptional standard.
Refurbish and repair alloy wheels.
Prepare used vehicles to retail-ready standards.
Maintain your mobile repair van, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
Complete repairs safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional image at every customer location.
Follow company quality, health and safety procedures.
Experience in windscreen chip repairs would be an advantage but is not essential.
Essential
Minimum 3 years' experience in SMART Repair, Vehicle Paint or Cosmetic Vehicle Repairs.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Excellent paint preparation and spraying skills.
Strong colour matching ability.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional, reliable and self-motivated.
Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Desirable
Alloy wheel refurbishment experience.
Mobile SMART repair experience.
Windscreen chip repair experience.
Experience working with dealership or fleet customers.
