A leading independent accountancy practice are recruiting for an Audit Manger. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Audit Manager looking to progress or an existing Audit Manager seeking a change of environment.
To be considered you need to be ACA or ACCA qualified, specialising in Audit and Accounts.
On a daily basis the Audit Manager will be planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion, along with general accounting compliance work. Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards, whilst training others.
All audits are local, no overnight stays required.
Audit Manager duties and responsibilities Managing a small audit team, working with audit an non audit clients.
Delivery of high quality audit and non-audit services, coordinating team members in delivery of same.
Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 10
2) and International Auditing.
Managing administration of client, including budgets, WIP and timely billing.
Maintaining the highest technical and professional standards.
Thinking strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis.
Delivering results and managing client expectations.
Identifying ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value.
Supervising and coach, train and develop staff to develop their knowledge
Career progression through continuous professional development.
Undertake and support other staff with preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders.
Applicants will have working knowledge of accountancy packages, including; Sage, Xero or CCH products. You will liaise with clients exceptional communication skills are essential, with advanced IT skills and excellent project management abilities.
Candidacy will be considered from newly qualified individuals to Senior Managers. Excellent progression opportunities.
