We've got an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in Primark Canterbury in the CT1 2TE area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new Beauty brand into a fast-paced high street store. You'll be responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are completely full of stock as these brands sell fast!
About the role:
This role will primarily be based within the CT1 2TE postcode.
Confirmed working hours:
- Monday: 06:00 AM to 09:00 AM
- Thursday: 06:00 AM to 09:00 AM
There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising. This is a fixed term contract that ends 9th November 2026, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.
As the Retail Merchandiser you will also act as the eyes and ears in store, providing clear written updates and photographs that support client reporting, insight, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
- Visit assigned stores on schedule to set up and maintain product displays
- Follow instructions (planograms) and client guidelines for each visit
- Make sure displays look great, are safe, and meet company and legal standards
- Take clear photos and write short reports after each visit using company systems
- Let your Team Leader know if you run into problems (like missing stock or access issues)
- Build good relationships with store staff and represent the company professionally
- Keep up with any required training or certifications
- Complete all store visits on time
- Follow instructions and keep displays looking their best
What You will Need:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (if needed)
- Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service
- Good at organizing your own work and managing your time
- Comfortable working on your own and following instructions
- Good communication skills
- Able to use a smartphone or tablet for reporting
- Understand basic health and safety
- Be honest, respectful, and positive
