As the firm continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help increase brand awareness, develop new client relationships and generate opportunities across Kent, London and the South East.
Experience within professional services, accountancy, legal, financial services, consultancy or another relationship-led B2B environment would be a requirement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on meeting people, opening doors, attending networking events and becoming a recognised face within the local business community. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term relationships with prospective clients and professional introducers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and approaching new business opportunities across multiple service lines
- Building a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking and relationship building
- Booking and attending meetings with business owners and decision-makers
- Representing the business at networking events, exhibitions and local business functions
- Developing relationships with solicitors, banks, IFAs, consultants and other professional introducers
- Working closely with Partners to identify opportunities and arrange introductions
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities within existing client relationships
- Supporting proposals, presentations and client meetings where required
- Maintaining accurate pipeline activity and business development records
- Acting as a positive ambassador for the firm within the local business community
