We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a strong Technical team, reporting directly to the Technical Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site's Quality Management System while leading Food Safety, Quality and Legality standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System
- Lead and develop the QA and Hygiene teams, promoting a strong food safety and quality culture
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, GMP and customer requirements
- Oversee pest control, hygiene programmes and product testing schedules
- Manage internal audits, non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support traceability, recall procedures and compliance training activities
- Work closely with the Technical team to maintain specifications and improve ways of working across the business
About You
- Experience in a Quality leadership role within food manufacturing
- Previous team management or supervisory experience
- Internal auditing experience
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems and pest control
- Knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and GMP standards
