Our client is a family-owned business with over 30 years of success as a leading manufacturer and distributor of window and door hardware. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead their marketing function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will shape the brand strategy, drive awareness and demand across both trade and retail markets, manage a team of two, and contribute to key commercial decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a balance of strategic thinking and practical delivery. The ideal candidate will be a confident user of AI, applying it to market research, insight generation, and content creation to deliver commercially effective, brand-consistent marketing.

Package:

  • Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm FULLY OFFICE BASED.
  • Company pension scheme
  • Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand strategy, annual marketing plans, and integrated campaigns across trade and consumer channels to support business growth.
  • Present marketing performance, insights, and recommendations to the MD and senior leadership team.
  • Use AI-powered research and analytics tools to identify market trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity, and growth opportunities.
  • Apply customer insights and predictive analytics to shape commercial strategy and audience development.
  • Deliver AI-enabled content creation, ensuring brand consistency, IP/licensing compliance, and effective governance.
  • Create AI workflows, prompt libraries, and templates to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Manage digital marketing activity across website, SEO, paid search, email, social media, and e-commerce, using analytics and CRO to optimise performance.
  • Lead content, SEO, and GEO strategies across product pages, case studies, technical content, and Knowledge Hub resources.
  • Manage marketing platforms.
  • Deliver product launches, trade promotions, seasonal campaigns, and exhibition activity.
  • Manage agencies, suppliers, marketing collateral, and technical documentation.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team while collaborating with Sales, Estimating, and Product teams to deliver commercially focused activity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' marketing management experience, ideally within a B2B or trade-focused environment.
  • Relevant marketing qualification - CIM Chartered Marketer, degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven hands-on experience using generative AI tools in a commercial environment.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills.
  • Practical experience with AI-powered design tools.
  • Good understanding of the intellectual property, licensing and brand governance considerations surrounding AI-generated content.
  • Experience using AI-driven market research and brand intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
  • Strong digital marketing expertise across SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, GA4 analytics and CMS management.
  • Experience leading, managing and developing a small marketing team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
