An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance systems and transformation professional to play a pivotal role in a major finance transformation programme within a large, complex organisation.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead the development, governance and optimisation of financial data structures and group reporting capabilities, ensuring the organisation can deliver accurate, insightful and robust financial and statutory reporting.
This is a highly visible role at the heart of a significant transformation programme, offering the chance to shape the future of financial reporting, planning and budgeting across a diverse and complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic management and governance of financial data structures and chart of accounts development.
Own and maintain FCCS data structures, integrity and data quality to support group and statutory reporting requirements.
Drive the design and delivery of enhanced financial reporting solutions and processes.
Act as the finance subject-matter expert, ensuring systems and reporting capabilities meet business requirements.
Partner with finance, transformation, technology and operational stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.
Manage project work streams, internal leads and third-party implementation partners.
Support the design and implementation of planning, budgeting and performance management solutions.
Ensure robust controls, reconciliations and governance frameworks are embedded across financial reporting processes.
About You You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong track record of leading financial systems, reporting transformation and financial data governance initiatives within large, complex organisations.
Essential requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close System).
Strong understanding of statutory reporting, group consolidations and financial reporting frameworks.
Experience leading finance transformation, EPM or enterprise reporting projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective financial systems and reporting solutions.
