Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK business operating within the agricultural and supply chain sector to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
This is a highly visible role partnering with senior leadership, commercial teams and operational stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic decision-making while driving greater use of data and insight across the organisation.
The position offers excellent breadth, combining commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering and performance reporting within a complex and dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and decision support.
Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to improve business visibility and performance monitoring.
Produce regular management information, analysis and reporting for operational and leadership teams.
Support working capital management through inventory and purchasing analysis.
Lead the annual budgeting process, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow planning.
Prepare regular forecasts and reforecasts throughout the year.
Manage supplier rebate tracking, reporting and reconciliation processes.
Support supplier payment planning and cash flow forecasting activities.
Partner with commercial teams to assess supplier terms and commercial arrangements Support month-end, half-year and year-end financial close activities, including key provisions.
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and strategic insights for senior leadership.
Skills & Experience ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Previous experience within a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable business insight.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advanced Excel capabilities and strong financial modelling skills.
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, ideally including Power BI and IFS.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business decisions through data-led recommendations.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
