Job Details:

  • Pay: £34,401 starting salary, rising to £38,631 once signed off in the specific role
  • Hours of Work: 3 on, 3 off, 12-hour rotating shift pattern including both day and night shifts
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role:

As a Machine Operative, you will contribute to the quality and technical standards of the production team, ensuring the manufacture of high-quality cheese products in a reliable and cost-effective manner. The Machine Operative will operate production equipment, run packing lines using production IT systems, carry out simple maintenance tasks, maintain strict food hygiene and health and safety standards, monitor equipment performance, and report any issues before they become problems.

  • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Machine operating experience
