DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to work at our client who is a household name in the Industrial Industry, in Bury, Manchester. Our client is a trusted wholesale foodservice company, supplying education, healthcare and hospitality sectors to the North of England for over 60 years. Based in the Northwest, they are an award-winning, family-run wholesaler offering fresh, frozen & non-food products across the North. With ethical & sustainable sourcing, flexible delivery options and over 6,000 products available, they deliver to restaurants, cafes, hotels, bars and event caterers throughout Greater Manchester. Our client does accept new qualified drivers, and full training will be provided. This role is a temporary to permanent position.
Duties:
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Delivery of consumables to schools which are palletised
- Handball will be involved
- Up to 10 drops per day
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent tacho knowledge regarding sound manual entry and driving hours compliance
Requirements:
- Current CPC Licence
- Current Digital Tachograph Licence
- New passes welcome and full training will be provided
- An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Hours: Days - Monday to Friday (5 am starts)
Remuneration: £16.00 per hour
