We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (or Cat C Drivers) to join our growing Bury St Edmunds depot. Night shifts typically start between 22:00-00:00.

What You'll Do:

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to couriers or collecting from delivery units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated. Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 35 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part-time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

What We Can Offer You:

£18.17 per hour (£17.23 per hour plus £0.94 seasonal allowance) with an overtime rate of £25.85. In addition to our competitive salary, our full-time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into your pension & life assurance. Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.
  • Newly qualified drivers are welcome; however, all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
  • Reasonable physical fitness.
