Our client, a national service organisation, is searching for a vibrant, positive and adaptable Receptionist/Customer Service professional to become the welcoming face of their growing team. This is a role where your personality truly matters; you'll set the tone from the moment visitors walk through the door, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, professional and effortlessly well-organised.
Reporting to the Office Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome visitors upon arrival
- Direct guests to the appropriate person or department
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
- Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area with all necessary stationery and materials
- Provide accurate information in person, over the phone and via email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- Follow safety procedures and maintain office security, including monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges
- Order front-office supplies and manage stock levels
- Update calendars, schedule meetings and support travel/accommodation arrangements
- Prepare vouchers and maintain records of office expenses
- Carry out general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
As a successful candidate, you'll bring previous experience in reception, administration or customer service, along with confident Microsoft Office skills and a polished communication style. You'll be proactive, resourceful and ready to step in when challenges arise. Hands-on experience with office equipment will help you hit the ground running.
