A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a proactive People Team.
This is a busy and varied role where you will build relationships with Managers, supporting them through all people related issues in a fair, consistent and compliant manner.
Below is an overview of the role in further detail:
Being the first point of contact for HR queries from Managers
Coaching Managers through each stage of the disciplinary and grievance process
Leading on absence management, liaising with occupational health and providing return-to-work support
Advising on maternity, paternity and flexible working requests
Supporting with queries that follow organisational change such as TUPE and restructures
Delivering bitesize training sessions to People Managers
Supporting the HR Business Partners with complex cases
Contributing to other ongoing HR projects
Using people data and case management information to identify trends and support decision-making
Helping promote wellbeing, inclusion and a positive employee experience
You'll be a visible member of the People Team, building strong relationships across the organisation and ultimately helping managers develop the confidence and capability to handle people matters effectively.
This is an ideal role for someone already operating at the HR Advisor level having supported Managers with a real variety of employee relations cases.
Please note this is initially a fixed term contract role for 12 months - a great opportunity to gain some experience within a real values driven organisation that genuinely put people at the heart of everything they do.
It is essential for this role that you have access to a car, are able to get to Burnley a couple of days a week along with other sites across the North West.
There will also be the opportunity to work 1 day a week from home.
