Are you an engineer with hands-on experience of building services and site utilities? We're looking for a Building Services Engineer with practical experience working with equipment such as:
- Refrigeration systems & compressors
- Compressed air systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Vacuum pumps
- HVAC
- Pumps & motors
- Boilers / steam systems
- General site utilities
You don't need to be a specialist in everything. We're looking for a good engineering generalist who understands this type of equipment, can investigate why something isn't performing properly and knows where to start looking for a solution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Investigating underperforming building services equipment
- Identifying faults, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Engineering practical solutions
- Reviewing plant controls, set points and operating parameters
- Improving reliability and energy efficiency
- Working alongside site engineers and specialist contractors
- Supporting utilities and engineering improvement projects
Approximately 50% site/factory floor and 50% office based.
What We're Looking For
- Building Services, Site Services, Utilities or Maintenance Engineering background
- Hands-on experience with several of the systems listed above
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable investigating equipment and proposing solutions
- Able to read technical drawings and schematics
- Manufacturing, FMCG or industrial experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and with contractors
