We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrician's Mate to join their team on a project based in Tamworth. Transport will be provided from Bromsgrove to the site in Tamworth, making this an excellent opportunity for someone local to Bromsgrove.

The Role

You will be working alongside experienced electricians, providing support with electrical installation and general site duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting electricians with electrical installation work
  • Preparing tools, materials and equipment
  • Assisting with cable pulling and containment
  • Supporting with general electrical installation tasks
  • Moving and handling materials around site
  • Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
  • Following site health & safety procedures
  • Working effectively as part of the electrical team

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as an Electrician's Mate, Electrical Improver or similar
  • Has experience working within an electrical or construction environment
  • Has a good understanding of site health & safety
  • Is reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is keen to learn and develop their electrical skills
  • Holds a valid ECS card or relevant site qualification where applicable

Pay & Hours: £15.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience. Start date: Monday 7th September 2026. Transport will be provided from Bromsgrove to Tamworth for the duration of the project. This is a temporary opportunity with a reputable company and an immediate start available for the right candidate.
