A great opportunity has just become live with one of my clients, based in Bristol! You will enjoy a varied role, where your primary duty is to deliver fully tested products and improve overall product quality through CI initiatives.
The Role:
- Testing, commissioning, and validating advanced engineering systems and equipment
- Diagnosing and fault-finding electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues
- Following detailed test procedures, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Recording and reporting test results, failures, and non-conformances accurately
- Supporting product quality, reliability, and performance standards
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing schedules and delivery targets
The Candidate:
- Electrical apprenticeship (time-served) or equivalent qualification such as City & Guilds Part 3, HND, HNC, or BTech Level 3.
- Previous experience within a test, engineering, manufacturing, or production environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable/advantageous)
- A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience using test equipment and validation processes (desirable)
