Role Overview:
Zenovo are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Bristol, focusing on designing electronics for their next-generation product. An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience outside of university; however, we are happy to consider candidates who have done a Sandwich Degree and completed a year in industry during their studies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic systems for new products.
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and test fixtures.
- Test and validate new designs, making improvements where needed.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to introduce new products into production.
- Support and improve existing electronic products through troubleshooting, testing, and redesign.
- Manage component obsolescence by identifying suitable replacement parts and updating designs.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and engineering developments to support product improvement.
- Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and management teams, with occasional international travel as required.
