About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor / Examiner / Engineer to join a specialist training and inspection team based in the Bristol area. This is a varied role combining technical instruction, examination and hands-on NDT inspection, supporting candidates through approved training programmes while also delivering inspection services for customers when required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality NDT training courses to internal and external candidates
  • Invigilating, examining and marking examinations in line with industry standards
  • Supporting training administration, quality requirements and course preparation
  • Undertaking NDT inspections across multiple methods at company and customer sites
  • Maintaining training equipment, consumables and inspection documentation

What you'll need

  • EN4179 Level 2 or Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods (UT, PA, ET, PT, MT or RT)
  • Evidence of instructional or teaching capability (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
  • A flexible, resilient mindset suited to a commercial training and inspection operation
