Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our Coop team in Avonmouth .

As a HR Lead you will be responsible for advising on ER cases, ensuring all policies & procedures are adhered to, coaching and supporting Managers in all aspects of people management, together with overseeing payroll processes on site, alongside ensuring the HR data is managed and processed in line with GXO and statutory requirements.

The role is also responsible for the on-site management of the HR KPIs.

This is a full time , permanent, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00, however, we do ask for flexibility, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of up to £52,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What youll do on a typical day as a HR Manager: Lead on all HR related matters for site Coach and develop people managers on all aspects of HR related processes and policy, supporting them with complex ER cases, absence management and performance management processes.

Accurately managing HR KPIs on site, to include absence, headcount and other key measurables Lead & develop onsite People agenda Implementing and maintaining efficient HR processes & Continuous Improvement initiatives within the HR department Providing advice and guidance to colleagues on site Management of union relations & ER caseload & provide advice and guidance to colleagues on site Coaching and training Managers and Supervisors on HR matters, process and policies What you need to succeed at GXO: CIPD Qualified or Studying towards L5+ Previous experience within a union environment and previous ER caseload management experience Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with stakeholders High attention to detail & able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Experience within an HR Advisor or Manager position Previous experience of working within a transport and logistics industry would be highly desirable An up-to-date knowledge or understanding of employment law We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
