We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant with a specialist focus on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) to support the development of fair, inclusive and effective people policies and practices.
Working closely with managers, HR colleagues and employee networks, you'll provide expert HR advice, contribute to complex casework, review policies, and use workforce data and insights to help shape EDI initiatives across the organisation. You'll also play a key role in supporting Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs) and embedding inclusive employment practices.
- Proven HR policy and employee relations experience
- Strong knowledge of EDI, employment law and HR best practice
- Experience within a Local Authority environment is essential
- Ability to analyse workforce data and provide evidence-based recommendations
