Our client is a rapidly expanding manufacturer that supplies bespoke extrusions to a wide range of sectors including construction, engineering, and manufacturing. Their products include components such as window and door frames. The facility is split into two main areas: one focused on extrusion, and the other on thermal bridging, paint lines, and machining.
These positions sit within the extrusion side of the operation and are ideal for electrically biased maintenance engineers with a multi-skilled background.
Key Responsibilities:- Electrical maintenance of 3-phase motors and work involving inverters/drives
- Mechanical tasks including changing bearings, working with hydraulics, seals, and pneumatics; many repairs involve straightforward part swaps
- Ensuring minimal downtime and supporting production efficiency
- Electrically biased with a multi-skilled maintenance background
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Annual Salary: £51,000
- Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am):
- Week 1: Wed/Thurs/Fri Days (Mon/Tues off)
- Week 2: Mon/Tues/Wed Nights (Thurs/Fri off)
- Week 3: Mon/Tues Days, Thurs/Fri Nights (Wed off)
- Overtime Pay: 1.3x weekday rate, 1.5x weekend rate (double time after 8 hours)
- No weekend working
- 20 days holiday (based on 12-hour shifts)
