About the team: Our Assistant Relationship Management team keeps things running smoothly for our Invoice Finance clients and Relationship Managers. They handle day-to-day requests, keep records accurate and make sure customers get quick, dependable support. Working closely with colleagues across relationship management, risk and operations, they find practical solutions, communicate clearly and help clients access the funding they need - with the right controls in place. It's operational excellence, delivered with a customer-first mindset, that helps keep business moving.

About the role: To work as part of our existing Assistant Relationship Team (ARM) to support the Relationship Managers in all aspects of managing a portfolio of clients; including risk control, service level assurance and procedural compliance. We expect you to demonstrate our core values of Decency, Enterprise and Brilliance at all times. Your priorities would be to provide a great service, whilst focusing on ledger performance, utilising Risk Factor and exception reporting to identify and investigate any anomalies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in managing client portfolios, ensuring smooth onboarding and excellent service.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to resolve queries and support facility amendments.
  • Help RMs achieve client engagement goals, including Open Banking connectivity and risk factor reviews.
  • Daily review and update of debtor credit limits and concentration limits.
  • Ensure timely completion of verification processes with proper documentation.
  • Process payments, overpayments, credit notes, refunds, and reassignments within authority levels.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records leaving no tasks overdue by month-end.
  • Complete Anti Money Laundering and Identity Verification checks within seven days.
  • Regularly review and maintain risk factor schedules.
  • Work closely with the Debtor Protection team to monitor internal DP limits and track external DP limits and Premiums Paid.
  • Support our compliance team.
  • Keep trackers and logs updated for complaints and financial disbursements.
  • Ensure all mandatory training is completed on time.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-departmental projects.
  • Demonstrate the use of AI to assist with day-to-day tasks.
